TWO ENTREPRENEURS, AN OLD AIR FORCE HANGAR, AND A DREAM.
Only true entrepreneurs would look at a WWII Air Force hangar and see a brewery. In 2006, our enthusiastic tribe donated supplies, picked up their tools and paintbrushes, and converted a 1936 quonset hut at Currie Barracks into a microbrewery. Our Taproom, AF23, was born. Though we expanded to a state-of-the-art brewery in 2014, we still use the 30 hL copper kettles at AF23 for our small batch and innovation brews. A perfect showcase for our fresh-local-authentic philosophy, AF23 remains our point of pride.
